My mission as a Boston maternity photographer is to create gorgeous images of mamas. While we don't all FEEL like glowing goddesses during pregnancy, I want you to look back at these photos and remember the sweet kicks and the excitement of what is to come AND love the way you look!
Often parents only think to schedule a newborn session, but documenting pregnancy can be so special too! That's why I love offering a First Year Collection to include both sessions, plus a family or milestone session, at a discounted price.
My maternity sessions are laid back and casual. If you have older kiddos, its basically a family session where you touch your belly a lot. If its just you or you and a partner, I gently pose you very naturally--no weird and awkward posing you'll look back wondering WTF you were doing later.
The name of the game is touch the belly, and I'll make sure to make you look gorgeous! We're celebrating this amazing time when you're creating life with your body and pretending for one hour that you don't have heartburn and that your feet fit in your shoes properly and embracing the bump.

As part of your maternity photo session experience, I am happy to assist with styling. I truly believe what you wear is the most important choice to set the mood for your photos.
Don't want to buy a fancy maternity dress just for these photos? No problem, you can wear one of the gorgeous, bump-friendly dresses I have stashed in my client closet.
Want to wear something from your closet, or buy something new for your photos? Awesome! I have a maternity style guide to help yo u choose wh at to wear. I'm also happy to look at photos or links of outfit options to help you decide.
Boston maternity photographer sessions are ideally scheduled around 30-34 weeks, when you have a nice bump, before you start getting too uncomfortable. The shoot will last 30-60 minutes. The whole family is invited, including partners and siblings.
In the Spring, Summer, and Fall, Boston maternity photographer sessions can be done outdoors about an hour before sunset. My absolute favorite location is the Arnold Arboretum , on the border of Jamaica Plain and Roslindale--a short drive from downtown Boston.
Maternity sessions can be done in my Dedham studio all year round. Actually, studio maternity sessions are my favorite!
I'm honored to have been recognized as Boston's Favorite Family Photographer in the Joey Awards, by Community Kangaroo!

Wow this just took me way too long to create 🫣🫣🤣😅
Including siblings in newborn photos sounds sweet in theory.
One of the biggest worries parents have before an in-home newborn session is whether their house is “photo-ready.”
✨ 2025 in review + what’s ahead ✨
If you’re due in the winter or early spring in Boston, outdoor maternity photos aren’t always realistic—and that’s where my studio truly shines 🤍
2026 intention: take photos of my own kids with my real camera
Wow so amazed to have won this! Thank you so much to everyone who took time to vote for me!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Busy season 2025 is officially wrapped! Just finished up a lovely in home newborn session in JP and now have a full week off for the holidays. You wouldn’t know it by my feed, but over the last three months I’ve photographed over 50 sessions. I’m so grateful for all those families who trusted me with their portraits, and I will be busy getting those images out ASAP! :)
I was nominated for Favorite Family Photographer by @communitykangaroo ! I NEED YOUR HELP! It would mean the world to me if you could vote for me and my business to help me win! Link in bio!
In reality? It often involves snacks, bribes, strong opinions, and at least one child who absolutely refuses pants.
And that’s… totally fine. 😅
The goal of sibling newborn photos isn’t perfect behavior or everyone smiling at the camera at the same time. It’s capturing real moments — curiosity, chaos, cuddles, and the very beginning of a lifelong relationship.
We keep things low-pressure:
• We start with sibling photos while attention spans still exist
• We don’t force hugs (ever)
• We take breaks (lots of them)
• We fully expect some wiggles, wandering, and craziness
Some of the best photos happen between the planned moments — when a toddler leans in unexpectedly, declares the baby “too loud,” or gives a quick kiss and runs away.
Your kids don’t need to cooperate. They just need to show up as themselves.
And honestly? That’s where the good stuff is.

Here’s the truth: it doesn’t need to be 🤍
During an in-home newborn session, we use just a few light-filled spots—your bed, the nursery, a cozy corner of the living room, a window with beautiful natural light. Real spaces where life is actually happening right now.
No perfect décor.
No spotless counters.
No pressure to make your home look like a magazine.
These photos are about connection, comfort, and documenting this fleeting season exactly as it is. The places where you’re feeding your baby at 3am, rocking them to sleep, and slowly finding your rhythm together.
Your home already tells your family’s story. I’m just there to help you remember it.

2025 felt like a year of momentum and gratitude.
After some slower behind-the-scenes work in 2024, this past year was my busiest ever — 116 families, including maternity, newborn, and family portraits. I am so grateful to each of you who trusted me with your memories 🤍
I was also deeply humbled to be named Favorite Family Photographer (South of Boston) by Community Kangaroo — thank you to everyone who voted. It means more than I can say.
Some of the things I loved most in 2025:
• Launching the First Year Collection (seeing families grow over time has been incredible)
• Adding more product options to help you enjoy your photos in your home
• Streamlining communication and booking so your experience feels smooth and supportive
Looking ahead, I’m excited about:
✨ Studio upgrades (hello snacks & coffee ☕️!)
✨ Expanded styling + fittings
✨ Giving more love to in-home newborn sessions
✨ Showing up more here on Instagram
✨ Monthly newsletters that are short, helpful, and worth your time
Thank you for being here, for supporting my small business, and for letting me do what I love. I can’t wait to make more memories with you in 2026 🤍
