We really have tons of fun during these Boston family photographer shoots. I play with you and your kids to capture genuine smiles and emotions. I loosely pose you and give you some general direction, but overall I have you snuggle and tickle and play with your kids.
I will get individual shots of each child, shots with each parent, and lots of the whole family. I love getting a variety with everyone smiling and looking at the camera, as well as tons of less posed shots where you’re just having fun.
You can expect me to run over to you to tickle tiny toes, and run backwards to catch the reaction. Poop jokes and silly faces--anything to get a real smile. No "say cheese" faces here, just genuine laughter and fun.
My goal as Boston family photographer is to create gorgeous artwork of your family's natural connections that you can't wait to share.

As part of your family photo session, I am happy to assist with styling. I truly believe what you wear is one of the most important choices for your photos.

Boston family photographer sessions last about an hour and are done outdoors in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. My favorite location is the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain and Roslindale, only a 15 minute drive from downtown Boston. Family sessions can also be done in my gorgeous studio in Dedham, or in your home!
I love photographing extended family sessions. Seriously, the more the merrier!

Busy season 2025 is officially wrapped! Just finished up a lovely in home newborn session in JP and now have a full week off for the holidays. You wouldn’t know it by my feed, but over the last three months I’ve photographed over 50 sessions. I’m so grateful for all those families who trusted me with their portraits, and I will be busy getting those images out ASAP! :)

In reality? It often involves snacks, bribes, strong opinions, and at least one child who absolutely refuses pants.
And that’s… totally fine. 😅
The goal of sibling newborn photos isn’t perfect behavior or everyone smiling at the camera at the same time. It’s capturing real moments — curiosity, chaos, cuddles, and the very beginning of a lifelong relationship.
We keep things low-pressure:
• We start with sibling photos while attention spans still exist
• We don’t force hugs (ever)
• We take breaks (lots of them)
• We fully expect some wiggles, wandering, and craziness
Some of the best photos happen between the planned moments — when a toddler leans in unexpectedly, declares the baby “too loud,” or gives a quick kiss and runs away.
Your kids don’t need to cooperate. They just need to show up as themselves.
And honestly? That’s where the good stuff is.

2025 felt like a year of momentum and gratitude.
