Boston One Year Old Photos, what is better? As a newborn photographer, I absolutely love photographing babies when they turn one. Cake smashes, cute outfits, and lots of personality make for amazing photos you’ll cherish for years to come.
Why I love Boston One Year Old Photos:
1. I get to see those babies grow! It’s so fun comparing little ones’ newborn photos to their milestone photos. Seeing them a year later just makes my heart happy.
2. Lots of outfits! Bring a few outfits, use some of mine, this is a chance to get a variety of outfits with your little one. My studio in Dedham, MA is the perfect neutral backdrop to use any colors you’d like.
3. Cake smash! After we take a bunch of different shots around the studio in different outfits, I love to end with a cake smash. Even a simple cupcake is perfect to get some of those hilarious shots with icing on their nose and funny faces when they try sugar for the first time. My favorite bakery for cute cake smash cakes is Weesh, right here in Roslindale!
4. Parents get in too! It doesn’t have to be all about baby, this is your chance to get IN the photo with them. You might have a bunch of unflattering selfies with your baby, but this is your chance to have a few updated, flattering photos of you and your little one.
Milestone photos done in the studio are an easier way to control the environment with this age group. We don’t have to worry about it being too hot, too cold, during nap or bedtime, whether it rains or is sunny. Living in the Boston, MA area, this is such a bonus. And we can schedule it for anytime of year! Also, the chaos is controlled in a confined space where those new walkers can’t just run away!
