I have to admit, this Maternity Photos Kelleher Rose Garden session was a bit outside my comfort zone. This lovely client contacted me asking to do their maternity photo session at the Kelleher Rose Garden in the Fens, mid morning on a hot day in July. They had gotten married there a few years ago and wanted to come back for photos with their toddler. They were actually visiting from Florida and were only here for a short time, before heading up to New Hampshire to visit family.
As you may have noticed, most of my outdoor sessions are done at the Arboretum here in Roslindale/Jamaica Plain, and are done about an hour before sunset for golden hour light, so this was a fun opportunity to do something a little different!
Admittedly, it was pretty hot this day and we worked quickly to avoid literal and figurative meltdowns. But I am so happy with how these Maternity Photos at the Kelleher Rose Garden images turned out! My client had the loveliest things to say about the images as well:
“These are AMAZING! I have had multiple people tell me these are the best family photos I’ve ever had, and some of the most beautiful photography they have ever seen. I was a little nervous with Rigby being so active, and us being sweaty hot messes but these are beyond beautiful. Thank you so much!”
